The “BOM for Hungarian Sport” Foundation considers it of utmost importance that elite athletes — who have brought great glory to the country — successfully transition into civilian life and the labor market after retiring from their competitive careers. Achieving this requires athletes to pursue further education alongside their athletic and Olympic or Paralympic trainings, acquiring language skills and professional qualifications.
To support this, the Foundation operates the Albert Berzeviczy Academic Scholarship Program, which aims to promote academic success among athletes with outstanding competitive results. Applications for the scholarship open each year in November.
